I bought an embroidery machine this year and I’m loving it! I’ve embroidered names on towels and done all sorts of personalized projects. My machine is a two-in-one, so it can both sew and embroider. I personally think that’s the way to go.
While I was searching online for some embroidery machine accessories (larger hoop and more embroidery thread), I came across some cute sewing themed flash drives you can buy on Amazon.
If you own an embroidery machine, you also need a flash drive to store all of your embroidery files. A flash drive allows you to easily transfer files from your computer to your embroidery machine without having to use a cord (if you have a USB compatible machine).
Most embroidery machines allow you to use any USB flash drive, but I think the sewing and craft themed thumb drives are super cute and fun. Plus, they’re no more expensive than any standard flash drive. You really don’t need a large flash drive unless you have thousands of embroidery files. Plus, you can always purchase a new flash drive when your current embroidery file drive is full.
Click on any of the pictures below to get a sewing themed thumb drive for yourself or a friend. My favorite is the white sewing machine with lilac detailing. However, I like the idea of using the embroidery hoop flash drive, too.
If you don’t want a sewing themed flash drive, there are all sorts of other novelty flash drives you can buy. You don’t have to use them for only embroidery files or PDF patterns, either.
How are the sewing flash drives formatted? FAT 16,32, or 12. I am in need of a flash drive formatted to FAT 12 and am unable to make this happen.
