The Story Behind Heart of the Needle
Lisa has a passion for sewing and she says it gives her purpose. In 2009, she went to Haiti on a mission trip to volunteer for an organization that runs an orphanage there. Lisa learned a lot about herself and met some wonderful people. She likes to support underserved populations, which is why a portion of her profits go to nonprofit organizations. When you support Heart of the Needle, you also support children and families in need.
Lisa’s bags are much better quality than any of the mass-produced bags you find in retail stores. They are more beautiful, too. Be sure to order soon if you want your handmade leather bag to arrive before the holidays.
